CHARLOTTE, N.C. (November 19, 2015) – Sky Zone Charlotte is teaming up with Fort Mill Schools to bring a new kind of athletic fitness to students.

Sky Zone Healthy promotes active fun atop a court of connecting trampolines to keep students active, athletic and fit. Bouncing uses almost every muscle and specifically targets the stomach, arms and legs to tone muscles, burn fat and increase metabolism. With each bounce, sixty trillion cells are continuously engaged for stronger muscles and muscle layers. This one-of-a-kind aerobic exercise strengthens major muscle groups and increases heart rate to promote cardiovascular health, increase blood circulation and improve balance and coordination.

Sky Zone Trampoline Park will offer students gravity-defying fun with popular activities such as Open Jump, offering a court of connecting trampolines for off-the-wall thrills, Ultimate Dodgeball, for a fresh new take on a friendly competition, Sky Slam which gives everyone the opportunity to fly high and dunk a basketball and the Foam Zone, where freestyle flyers can showcase their moves as they soar into the giant 10,000 cube pit. Fusing fun and fitness, Sky Zone also offers SkyRobics, a low-impact class that combines calisthenics, core exercises and strength-building aerobics for the most effective and dynamic workout that burns up to 1,000 calories.

“With so many of our kids not getting adequate daily exercise, we wanted to provide an alternative outlet to the gym in order to promote a healthy lifestyle,” said Brian Spick, owner of Sky Zone Charlotte. “We are thrilled to be partnering with Fort Mill Schools to offer students a unique gravity-defying experience that fuses fun and fitness.”

To cap off the year with a bang, Sky Zone is offering an exclusive end-of-the-season party deal to Fort Mill Schools. For teams with less than fifteen jumpers, each person receives SkySocks, pizza and drinks for $20 per jumper. For teams with twenty jumpers or more, each person receives SkySocks, pizza and drinks for $15 per jumper. Sky Zone is available for every kind of outing, from birthday parties, dodgeball tournaments and fundraising events to corporate team building and memorable class field trips. All ages, shapes and sizes are invited to HAVE FUN, FLY SAFE at Sky Zone.
