CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 17, 2016) – Carowinds, the premier entertainment destination of the Carolinas, is now the newest partner of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) and their student athletic programs.

Carowinds and National Amateur Sports (NAS) have announced a partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools that will support educational and student athletic programs. Under this new partnership, a host of unique initiatives will be developed that focus on fostering student and teacher enrichment.

Additionally, Carowinds will collaborate with both organizations to create new educational programs that continue to support national STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) standards as well as new career building initiatives focused on student growth and development.
