Job Description:  National Amateur Sports is looking for an office manager/operations team member to assist with and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures. This person’s role is to provide support for several branches of the organization and ensure high levels of organization and communication.

Responsibilities for this position include creating and editing PowerPoint presentations, managing accounts, making office supplies arrangements, assisting with some financial tasks and providing general support to our clients and employees. A successful Office Manager/Operations Team Member should have experience with a variety of software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately complete tasks.

Ultimately, this person should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation. 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel in particular)
  • Computer-literate
  • Experience with website development and maintenance
  • Experience with Quickbooks and/or finance
  • Flexible schedule (work may extend into late or weekend hours)
  • Hands on experience with office machines (printers and scanners)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

Sports Information, Intern

Job Description:  National Amateur Sports (NAS) is looking for a sports information intern to assist with communications and operations tasks. This person’s role is to provide support to the Operations Manager and Communications Director, as well as, develop the sports information position at NAS.

Responsibilities for this position include updating scores and results for our school districts athletic programs, as well as, updating and maintaining website content. This person will work closely with the Communications Director to identify, develop and produce news stories and announcements within our athletic programs. A successful sports information intern should have experience with a variety of software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately complete tasks.

Ultimately, this person should be able to ensure the accuracy of their work and help improve the content development aspect of our business.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel in particular)
  • Computer-literate
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of high school sports (scoring)
  • Experience with website development and maintenance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule, would prefer 15-20 hours in office per week (work may extend into late or weekend hours)
